The healthcare investment landscape is being reshaped by rapid technological progress and the Covid-19 pandemic. Please join Michael Giaquinto, Scott Perricelli and Matt Collier as they discuss the lenses through which they consider new investments, how that has impacted their organizations and stakeholders, what has changed over the last few years, and how they see future opportunities evolving across the healthcare landscape.
 

Michael Giaquinto (KSM '92) is a Senior Managing Director in Investment Banking at SVB Leerink covering the Medical Devices sector.  Mr. Giaquinto has nearly three decades of healthcare investment banking experience, including 20 years of transactions focused on Medical Devices. Prior to joining the firm in 2018, Mr. Giaquinto served as the Head of Medical Devices & Diagnostics at Greenhill where he spent 10 years dedicated exclusively to providing mergers & acquisitions advisory services to his clients. Prior to Greenhill, Mr. Giaquinto spent more than a decade at Citigroup where he served as Co-Head of its U.S. Healthcare Group. He also worked in the health care groups of UBS and Kidder, Peabody. Mr. Giaquinto has worked on more than 150 financings and M&A transactions valued at over $100 billion during his career.
 

Scott Perricelli (KSM ' 01) is a Partner at LLR Partners. Scott has more than 15 years of private equity and investment banking experience. Prior to joining LLR, Scott was a principal at Draper Triangle Ventures, an investor in high-technology start-up companies in Ohio and Pennsylvania. He previously served as an associate at Advanta Partners. Earlier in his career, Scott worked in investment banking at William Blair & Co. and JP Morgan and Company.
 

Matt Collier (KSM '92) is CEO of Sutherland Healthcare Solutions, a firm that sits at the inflection point of change in processes and solutions transitioning from manual to digital execution. Sutherland's unique value-add is in improving end-to-end front line and back office interconnected customer and constituent experiences in parallel with operational efficiencies enabled by the seamless integration of digital and human touch actions. Prior to Sutherland, he was a Senior Managing Director, Global Head Healthcare Strategic Consulting at Accenture. He was also a Partner at Bain, where he was a senior leader in the Healthcare and Mergers and Acquisitions practice.
